Which System is Best

One of the most frequently asked question when i do these dj workshop is: which system is the best? Should i get Traktor, Serato, DJays, Turntables, the options are infinite. My main recommendation is try as many as you can and then decide on your own personal preference. Go to friends house and ask them if you can try it out. Go to you local music store which usually have a dj set up and try it out. Try to see which option feels the most comfortable and also ask yourself how committed are you to being a dj, it isn't worth spending a whole lot of mula if your only going to be doing it at home for your personal listening. As for my personal option i like using Traktor, i know where things are, the options i have and I've been using it for years now. I've also seen many Dj use Serato and Abelton Live which are also a great option, so those are also great programs to check out. The main thing in my option is to keep an open mind, things change and what is a great set up right now may not be so in the future. I love using turntables but i can barely find them in clubs anymore and it's a pain taking your own around to clubs, so i find myself using the cdjays. There are also alot of controllers out there which you can do alot interesting stuff with. There isn't a bad option as long as you get a good quality sound output. Down below is a free program from Virtual DJ which i have seen around in both personal and club use. It's a great way to start without breaking the piggy bank.
